High Cervix Before Menses And Pink Discharge

Satrap (Captain Haddock version)

One of the adjectives that you are applying to Gaddafi is to lately Satrap . Says

DRAE that is
satrap
1. m. Governor of a province of ancient Persia.
2. m. coloq. Wise man who knows govern with cunning and intelligence, or despotic government. U. tc adj.

Obviously, Qaddafi is not Persian, but it is clever, clever (do not know if smart, I think at all) and, of course, despotic government.

The first time I read that word was in one of the most glorious strings of insults from Captain Haddock, the fellow sufferer of Tintin , which dedicates the Yeti in Tintin in Tibet .

I know the comparison between the Yeti and Gaddafi may be odious, on especially as the Yeti does not deserve such abuse.

I would leave a direct link to download the book , but since I hurt my hostador and also my friend, I leave a link that will tell you where.

Beautiful Agony Daily Motion Play Lists

Why do you need a religious employer a public university?

"... makes sense within, and in the XXI century, that civil and public university, the University of Zaragoza, an institution State public, hold a formal religious pattern, which is considered festive celebration and non-school? --------------------------------

San Braulio is the official patron the University of Zaragoza . As is my "Alma Mater" I know a little case. He was a writer and Bishop of Zaragoza, back in the seventh century. Character was of some importance at the time, no doubt, and had some ralación with another conspicuous character, San Isidoro de Sevilla.

But not concern us here their fortunes and their achievements, but the fact that, today, follows the holy Zaragozano being the boss of the city's public university.

Antonio Aramayona , professor of philosophy at the university, the question today in an article in the Journal of Aragon entitled "Gaudeamus Igitur." Amen , and already published last day 21 in his personal blog, utopia is needed, what needs a religious pattern as San Braulio a public university such as Zaragoza.

describes the ceremony of 2010 highlighting some issues that he himself described as surreal:
"... the Chancellor speak again:" Here's the word Prof. Dr. Don XX, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, who will deliver the eulogy speech in honor of the patron Saint Braulio, entitled mitochondrial genome disease.
Surely, cracked the foundation of the University of Zaragoza and its history in trying to understand this act of transvestism on the mutated mitochondrial genome in a speech ("speech or argument usually brief and directed by a superior to inferior , followers or subjects ") laudatory (" praising or containing praise ") in honor of the patron (" defender, protector, "" protector chosen by a people or congregation, whether it be a saint, the Virgin Mary or Jesus in any of its invocations) San Braulio.

Contradictory, I think.

Vindication Aramayona teacher could not be more consistent and tailored to today's reality:
"In a pluralistic society like the present and in a secular State as required by the Constitution 1978 English no sense for a public university and civil own holiday kept as principal of a Catholic bishop of the seventh century as a saint venerated by the faithful of the Catholic confession.
Aragon has a large number of intellectuals and artists of first rank, in whose honor the University of Zaragoza could hold an official holiday unanimous. For example, Santiago Ramón y Cajal, Francisco de Goya, Maria Moliner, Luis Buñuel, Miguel Catalán, Joaquín Costa , etc.
Why do you need a religious employer a public university like the University of Zaragoza? Surely, the overwhelming response in the academic world is indifference, laziness, disinterest, apathy and inertia in this regard by much of academia. Thus are born, grow, mature and vegetate traditions. "

continues glossing the merits of the patron saint:
" ... his intellectual contribution in any field of rational knowledge and scientific knowledge is quite little or no: namely, his epistolary relationship (about 44 letters) with Isidore of Seville, his work " Life and miracles of San Millan de la Cogolla " and its protagonist participation in the councils of Toledo V and VI, where among other decrees on all things extremely hard persecutory measures against the Jews.
in 2011 would not be unreasonable to consider whether Braulio of Zaragoza is qualified for the festival will be dedicated institutional university, considering also the considerable number of figures of literature, the arts and sciences who were born, lived or worked in Aragon.

The March 25, 2011, the day after tomorrow repeat the ceremony, presumably in similar terms. And the teacher asks whether Kant Aramayona assist in a remarkable act of "lifting the head" and wonder about "the need for man to come out of his minority, ie the inability to use one's own understanding without the guidance of another ".

And the climax is definitive:
"... everyone is guilty of this a minor when the cause of it lies not in lack of understanding but in lack of resolve and courage to use it independently without the conduct of another, leaving to stay with pleasure under her throughout life, due to laziness and cowardice.
therefore find it so easy to set himself up as some tutors, employers and employers. "

The university has been characterized in recent years by its enormous capacity of inbreeding, intellectual inertia and stagnation. Do not get me wrong: there are excellent teachers I myself had no less than half a dozen really bright, but what should be an advanced training center that contributes to the betterment of society in all its aspects, has been half way between unfinished reforms, outdated syllabi, campus of those who extend their academic life to avoid swelling the ranks of the unemployed, studies of questionable utility and budget shortfalls evident.

Anyway, it seems that for the same reason San Braulio is still the pattern, the designs of the university are governed by the same patterns. My apologies

principals who have fought to improve the university at the expense of their own research and teaching careers. But here is a belated manifests.

endorse the words of Antonio Aramayona. Amen. Same

should review the anthem of the university, Gaudeamus igitur and recovery, at least in part, its spirit and its literalness. --------------

The first book blank books into movies

Hermann Boerhaave (1668-1738)
Herman Boerhaave is considered one of the most influential clinicians and teachers of eighteenth century. It has come to be known as the "Hippocrates Dutch. His research and the merits you can see in the literature.

But today we are going to have a curiosity about so famous "doctor, botanist and humanist and a book that he wrote when he died in 1738.

apparently left the book sealed with the catchy title of "The unique secrets and deepest in the medical art" .

The book was auctioned for $ 20,000 shortly after gold.

The new owner was quick to unseal his new acquisition in search, perhaps, a foolproof manual.

What he found was that all the pages except the first were blank.

It only advice I could read the whole work:
"Keep a cool head, warm feet and will impoverish the Best doctor in the world "
As shown, the blank books is not new. Nor do very well stop the medical profession, which has triggered so much suspicion over the story.

: Dawn is no little

Many movies are based on literary works. And many novels include in their schemes developed scenes in theaters.

But books are actors, and not always side in many novels and movies. Who can forget

" The Name of the Rose " by Umberto Eco, plot in which the main character is a book.

Today we will look at the books displayed in a 1988 film, which has become almost cult product " Dawn is no little " by José Luis Cuerda.

In it, one of the characters, Bruno, South American, more by token, becomes involved in a case of plagiarism that leads to jail, it looks like, matter of some now-because, as writer who writes a brilliant novel that gives a reading of the intellectual of the people to ask their opinion.

The book that comes out of his pen makes an exceptional novel, nothing less than " Light in August" Faulkner, William Faulkner. And no less than in the translation of Pedro Lecuona for Goyanarte editorial, word for word. Let

fragments of the film in which he speaks of "affair" Faulkner:

film elapses between events rather surreal, delirious scenes and edifying dialogue, and finally, our plagiarist gets out of prison and reunited with his friend to tell her that the intellectual has been rewritten. This time you have questions:

Dostoevsky also has a cameo in the film.

The hidden identity of Borges and Bioy Casares: H. Bustos Domecq

Little could they imagine the great-grandfather And great-grandfather Bustos Domecq that their grandchildren would become two of the leading exponents of Latin American literature and perhaps in world literature.

And even less that would be good friends and you come to write some books in tandem detective stories, and they would use the names of their grandparents as a pseudonym to conceal their true identities.

Following this exercise of wit hide Jorge Luis Borges and Adolfo Bioy Casares , who in 1942 published a book of stories detective novel, "Six Problems for Don Isidro Parodi " under the name of Bustos Domecq Honorio .

Don Isidro Parodi, innocent prisoner in cell 273 of the National Penitentiary, resolved cases from the cell using only tools and instincts, ingenuity, less ...

The March 18 Gabriel Celaya would have turned 100 years .

Few people know that his real name was Rafael Gabriel Celaya Leceta Juan Mugica. So I used all this litany of names to sign their work under various aliases: Rafael Mujica, Juan Gabriel Celaya Leceta or . The latter, is seen to be most liked, a name first used in 1946.

An engineer by training, and family taxation, soon devoted his efforts in the literary field. He met members generation 27, was in the dorm, prompted poetry collections, suffered exile ...

From the beginning understood poetry as a weapon to change the world, not as an end in itself but Reporting as a tool to serve the majority.

is certainly the most representative committed poetry of the English postwar period, which in some manuals is called social poetry.

is Poetry a loaded gun future is surely his most emblematic poem. I stay with these lines:
curse poetry conceived as a luxury cultural

neutrals that washing their hands, they turn away and escape. Damn
poetry who does not take sides until staining.
And I stay with them because they long ago moved away English poetry diametrically social commitment. And the poets of activism on behalf of society.

And in these times of crisis econonómica and, above all, intellectually, we need a return engagement of creators, artists, poets, writers ... and put your work in the service society, not society at your service.

The poem that saved a ship scrapping

Poetry is a weapon full of future. One case Popular demonstrating the correctness of the verses of Gabriel Celaya is the poet Oliver Wendell Holmes , perhaps one of the best known in the United States s. XIX.

His poem Old Ironsides saved from dismantling one of the standards of the U.S. Navy: the USS Constitution .

The exploits of the USS Contitution you have them reported in official website.

Since I was a ship that had garnered quite a few successes in numerous naval campaigns, enjoyed enormous prestige among the population so prone to nationalist fervor and to create myths. After

victorious confrontation with the navy vessel British flagship, the HMS Guerriere , earned the nickname "Old Ironsides ( old iron sides, referring to its strength as the guns Nick got him enemies.)

One of the most important interventions, and certain current, was the battle port of Tripoli, recently regained Stories of History.

The USS Constitution was a wooden boat, whose life expectancy at the time was set at around 15 years. As had already been in service more than 30, spent the corresponding evaluation ordered by the Navy Department. The repair cost was set at $ 157,000 more.

On September 14, 1830 Boston Advertiser newspaper published the news that the ship would be scrapped . Dice wikipedia article that was news wrong.

Anyway, two days after the same newspaper published a poem Oliver Wendell Holmes, entitled Old Ironsides whole encomiastic harangues so dear to the people in need of heroic gestures. The poem was:

Ay, tear her tattered ensign down! Waved
Long has it on high, And
Many an eye has danced to see
That banner in the sky;
Beneath it rung the battle Shout,
, And burst the cannon's roar;
The meteor of the ocean air Shall sweep the clouds
no more.
Her deck, eleven network with heroes' blood, Where
knelt the vanquished foe,
When winds were hurrying o'er the flood,
    And waves were white below,
No more shall feel the victor's tread,
    Or know the conquered knee;
The harpies of the shore shall pluck
    The eagle of the sea!
Oh, better that her shattered bulk
    Should sink beneath the wave;
Her thunders shook the mighty deep,
    And there should be her grave;
Nail to the mast her holy flag, Every September
threadbare sail, And Give Her
to the god of storms, The lightning and the
gale !

Within days, the poem was published around the country, and such was the host who had served for the USS Constitution be saved from the dismantling, restoration is approved and used to various tasks: training ship, transport ship, ship, and finally receiving Museum.

"Today, the mission the USS Constitution is to promote understanding of the role of Aramid in wartime as in peacetime through educational outreach, demonstrations, historic and active participation in public events. This vessel is active, and as such, its crew of 60 officers and crew members, participating in ceremonies, educational programs and special events while keeping the ship open to visitors throughout the year offering free tours. All personnel assigned an active member of the Navy and the allocation to this crew is considered a special duty. Traditionally, control of the ship is assigned to a Navy commander. "

always intrigued me was this "monument" that is on the road between Sabiñánigo to Jaca, in the province of Huesca (Spain).

Located on the side, next to the road (with the construction of a new highway will no longer be visible) and halfway between the two locations.

Passing car is impossible to read what it says. So one day there was little traffic, I stopped at the side (I put the turn signals up) and I took a photo to document the testimony of gratitude.

Surprise is not a CITIZEN grateful raised a monolith to commemorate a significant event (roads, even the mountains are full of them.) The surprise is that it makes high benchmark to a road accident almost in the prehistory of the automobile industry: 1911. We can speculate

car that suffered the accident, probably a Ford T 1910. It would be very different from this:

I find it more difficult to speculate on road conditions, which may well seem the picture above (although something tells me it would not be in such good condition). Well

. It turns out that the protagonist, whom I believe an anonymous citizen of the time and place, even a character of some significance, given its "possible", has proved to be a significant driver of development in the Alto Aragón.

Under the auspices of Francisco de Paula Romana Suari , Baron de Romana, you begin to study, in August 1909, "Irrigation Project del Alto Aragón (Sobrarbe, Somontano and Monegros)."

The project was "to put 300,000 ha under irrigation. By the waters of the rivers Cinca and Gallego, first, and Guatizalema Sotón and, secondly. The area involved the fourth of the total irrigated land in Spain and the plan was the largest in Europe. The State chose to take over the project by paying their rights to Baron de Romana, who had placed great hope in this book really great. "

Road safety, as seen, it was a problem in the early twentieth century, was about to be an entrepreneur of before.

... Women in the history of science

When talking about women and science, the immediate reaction is to indicate the absence of women in the development of this activity throughout history.

However, it is curious that this "fact" is fencing by those outdated conception of history of science and without that, who say such a thing, have made a serious examination of the history of science.

If they had, not just talk, "ironically" also of Madame de Châtelet , omitting, among other things, that his translation of the Principia Mathematica allowed the continent's accession to the Newtonian.

A cursory glance would have allowed them to discover Aglaonike and Hypatia in ancient times, to Hildegard of Bingen in the Middle Ages. Italian

Because this is not constituted only by big names, usually male, "as the stories of science to use and which could be quite easily could be added that of women, as in some line historical research.

Scientists live in a time and a country, belong to a society and have beliefs of various kinds (scientific and nonscientific). That is, science is not only a body of knowledge certificate promptly made by certain individuals, but much more.
